About PKGPilot
Independent software recommendations for people who have a business to run and no time to read forty comparison articles.
The problem
Searching for business software gets you a wall of "Best CRM Software" articles written for nobody in particular, ranked by whoever invested most in SEO, and monetized in ways that are rarely disclosed. None of them know your industry, your budget, or what you already pay for.
So people either overbuy, underbuy, or buy the tool with the biggest marketing budget — and then spend a year migrating off it.
What we do instead
PKGPilot asks about your business first: what you do, how big you are, what you're trying to achieve, what you can spend, and what you already run. Then it scores products against that, and shows you the reasoning.
The result is a PKG — a recommended stack, category by category, with an explanation for every pick and alternatives where the call was close.
Who it's for
Small businesses, freelancers, creators, agencies, e-commerce sellers, local service businesses, and growing teams — roughly one to a few hundred people. Big enough to need real tools, not big enough to have someone whose job is choosing them.
How we make money
Some vendors pay us a commission when someone signs up through our site. That keeps PKGPilot free to use and costs you nothing extra. It is also a small, published input to our scoring — 5% — and products that pay us nothing win recommendations regularly.
The details are in our affiliate disclosureand the scoring model is in How We Rank. We publish both because a recommendation you can't audit isn't worth much.
What we won't do
No invented reviews, no fake ratings, no partner logos for partnerships that don't exist, no savings claims from prices we guessed. Our full standards are in our editorial policy.
